Ouidad 12 Minute Deep Treatment

Feb 14, 2010 - This is a great deep conditioner that conditions without weighing down or give the hair the feeling of being over conditioned. I only got a 2 oz bottle and this stuff is very concentrated so a little goes a long way. I sectioned off my hair in 4 parts and was able to get enough product on comb it through and still have plenty left for my next treatment. It's expensive but worth it. I don't think you need to use 2 oz per section as they say on the web site use what ever works for you and your wallet

Ouidad VitalCurl Tress Effects Styling Gel

Feb 14, 2010 - I like this gel because it seems to provide more hold than the other ouidad gels. Use in combination with the setting spray for a good hold with out being crunchy

Ouidad Moisture Lock Leave-In Conditioner

Feb 14, 2010 - This is a leave in that you need to figure out what amount works for you b/c if you use too much it will weigh your hair down I try to use very small amounts on the back and ends of my hair and avoid using too much on my bangs and the front. It has a nice scent. I would suggest getting the sample first from the website which comes with several uses before buying this to see if it's right for you b/c it's expensive for it not to work

Ouidad - New York, New York, United States

Jan 15, 2010 - I went to ouidad last weekend in desperate need of a cut to make my hair more manageable. The staff there is very nice and courteous. However, I will say to be careful as they try to push products or services in a very subtle way. For example my hair is very dry and they told me your hair needs a deep treatment which is very expensive and I let them know right away that I couldn't do it today so they put on curl quencher conditioner and left me under the dryer for about 15 minutes. If you're on a budget be careful or you will wind up with a larger bill than expected. She cut my hair with their carve/slice method I was very happy with the results. My hair is more manageable now even when I don't use their products. While she was nice, it seemed like I was doing most of the talking. Another thing I didn't like was when they dried the hair they dried too much so it looked kind of frizzy afterward which they fixed with a pomade. I prefer to let my hair dry naturally or diffuse just half way but overall it was a good experience. I'm open to trying out other stylists and while their products are expensive, the ones I've used so far are pretty good. They work me for me.
