Nov 20, 2009 - First, I think this is terribly overpriced. But I got it on sale and split with another curly, so not so bad. I like the muff shape, and the size, and it does soak up enough (although I have to quickly blot and move on so I don't wick away too much water). Plus they're cute.

Nov 20, 2009 - Yuck. It won't play well with any leave-in I own, apparently, and it turns my hair to nasty rough string the minute I apply it. Too bad, because it's reasonably priced. (I don't think I like aloe vera on wet hair.)
Nov 20, 2009 - This is really great. It leaves me with shine, softness, and defined curls (as in it doesn't keep my hair from doing these things; it doesn't cause them). Has zero hold, but it's a curl cream. You only need a tiny bit, so a tub will last forever, which is good because shipping from the UK is painful.

Jan 20, 2010 - I really liked this visit. Amy is the first stylist I've ever had whom I trust understands my concerns and wishes. She's really listening when you speak. The best thing about Amy is that she'll tell you her honest opinion. If you want something she has a strongly negative feeling about, she'll tell you. She won't let you leave with what you thought you wanted but looks horrible on you. She cut off all my straight parts August 2009, and for the first two months I 100% hated it. But I realize that's just because it was SO short. But, I see Amy's wisdom; the cut has grown out beautifully. It's at bob length now and I get compliments all the time (although I have not gotten a cut since and am growing it out). It has never ONCE looked awkward or shapeless as it grows out. I look forward to my next visit with Amy, which will probably be whenever my hair needs shaping (distant future!).
