SheaMoisture Coconut & Hibiscus Curl & Style Milk

Aug 03, 2014 - EXCELLENT for anti-frizz- probably the best product I have used in terms of keeping my frizz in check and promoting shine. Is also reeaaaally good for curl definition. The reason I won't give it a 5 is that it still leaves my hair slightly unmoisturized even after using a ton of product. But, to be honest, I have yet to find a truly effective moisturizer and with all of the benefits this product brings I cannot complain. Will continue to use.

Dark and Lovely Au Naturale Coil Moisturizing Soufflé

Aug 03, 2014 - I give it a 4 because it truly does what it says its going to do- elongate your hair. If you want to stretch your hair out I HIGHLY recommend this product. It moisturizes decently well although I won't say it's my favorite moisturizing product. It's also a good softening product. I found this most effective as an everyday C if you follow the LOC method- it really combats shrinkage and shows off my true hair length. It also has a potent mango smell to it, which I love, but some people may be offended by the smell.

Cantu Shea Butter Leave In Conditioning Repair Cream

Aug 03, 2014 - I like this product, especially because it is so inexpensive. For it's price, it does an excellent job moisturizing your hair. However, if you use too much of this product it leaves a flaky white residue which I am not happy about. I use this as the LIC on wash day, but I do not recommend this as a leave-in for everyday styling as it builds up easily. The product does mention it can dually serve as a deep conditioner; in my experience, products that advertise as both leave-ins and deep conditioners seem to work more exclusively as deep conditioners because of residue issues. I have yet to use this product as a deep conditioner, but I predict it would work much better that way.
