Aug 06, 2011 - I use this on my WnGs on my 2nd & 3rd day hair to keep the frizz at bay. I use it to smooth down frizzy sections of hair. I apply to the fizzy sections only as opposed to rubbing through out my whole head b/c too much touching makes my hair frizzy - whether I'm SOTC or applying moisturizer. A little goes a long way as it seems to be very concentrated. The smell is light and pleasant and it's easy to wash out when it's time. A definite staple for now.

Aug 06, 2011 - I applied this leave-in to my hair while still wet from washing. It was already detangled so I can't speak to the amount of slip it gave. It is light and not overly greasy and my hair absorbed it well so it just didn't sit on top of it. It could have been more moisturizing but it was more moisturizing than Kinky-Curly Knot Today, which is my usual leave-in for my WnGs. It has a light smell - not my favorite scent but the smell gets lighter as time goes by. I will continue to use this until it's gone but not sure if it will be something to keep buying. I find that what moisturizes my hair the best is vegetable glycerin so I compare everything to that. For my hair type it might be a product that has to be layered - meaning I might have to try something more moisturizing on top of it. Not the best I've used but most definitely not the worse.
Aug 06, 2011 - I wanted to like this b/c the ingredients are really good and one can get it on the ground at Whole Foods. But, it doesn't have enough hold for my hair, leaves my hair crunchy (but not as crunchy as Kinky-Curly Curling Custard) and leaves my hair dry. I've used this product 3 times, once by itself w/ no leave-in conditioner just to see how moisturizing it was, I used it w/ the Beautiful Curls leave-in conditioner (which I'll give a separate review) underneath and then I used the BC leave-in and sealed with my castor oil-grape seed oil mix. All three times my hair took FOREVER to dry, dried crunchy and with no moisture. It took a few days of me misting my hair w/ my water, glycerin and castor oil mix to get moisture back in my hair. This will work for someone but it just didn't work for me.
