On Thursday October 20th, over 500 naturals from the East Coast poured into the Millesime Restaurant and Bar at the Carlton Hotel in New York City for an evening of mingling, natural hair education presented by Mizani, and of course showing of their fierce curls and natural styles in a way that only New Yorkers can do.
The event, which received over 1,500 RSVP’s initially, provided attendees with the opportunity to meet CurlyNikki one-on-one as well as her family who came along to support! Mizani stylists presented 4 styling vignettes in which stylists used Mizani products to demonstrate a wide variety of styles on all textures of hair from tight curls to locs to looser waves. Local bloggers and media also came out en masse to capture a snapshot of what has obviously become a curly hair revolution. Final Thoughts
