“In the beginning, I was a little self-conscious because, it was like, ‘Oh my god, my hair is so short!’ So, I had to focus on my other natural beauty.”

Not only are you interviewing a great natural but as you talk natural women are walking behind you!
Yay Christine!!! You are truly an inspiration to all of us Natural Women in Brooklyn--and there are a lot of us. I see so many of us everyday--what a blessing. I personally have been transitioning since February and my hair broke off to 1" from years and years of relaxing. My hair is about 2"-3" now. But like Christine "I love my hair!"
