DIY Purple Conditioner for Brassy Blondes

There are plenty of purple toning products on the market for blonde hair, but if you're trying to tone on a budget then try out this easy recipe!

The best part about this, is you can just modify your current favorite conditioner to be a toner. That means you're in control of the ingredients here, whether you're cone free, sulfate free, or CG Method.

Our NaturallyCurly user jennycurl shared it with us and we're curious to know what you all think of the results.

What You'll Need

  • 4 Tbsp your favorite conditioner
  • 1/4 tsp Purple Kool-Aid

Directions

  1. Mix both in a bowl
  2. Condition as you normally would
  3. Rinse well

I do not bleach my hair but if I ever went lighter I would try this! I do not really dye my hair either, I have used henna before and demi permanent Manic Panic but it has since grown out. However, I did dye my hair with Red Koolaid and use it to keep my demi permanent red dye (Manic Panic) vibrant a few years back. It worked great!
