Stephanie has been cutting as well as coloring my hair for 17 years now and I would never, ever trust another stylist with touching my curls. She is amazing at what she does and I recommend her for every curly hair type. She is also not working at Paradis anymore, she is now located at Siaani Salon on 2032 Chestnut Street, Philadelphia PA 19103. (215) - 567 - 5600. Book an appointment, it will most definitely be worth it!!

I just got my third cut with Stephanie in the past year, and decided it was time to review.
Without a doubt, my hair has never looked better. I was recently telling a friend that I was thinking maybe I'd try to find something a little cheaper, and she said "you can NOT. your hair has never looked this good!"
The cut lasts for months. When you get there, she'll sit down, look at your hair, ask you what you want, etc. Then she'll do the first cut wet. Then she has you re-condition (which we all know is the ONLY way to get it styled well.) After that, she has me sit under one of those hot lamp things, because I normally air dry. She really tries to work with how I style it, what I want, etc. Then she fine tunes the cut once it's dry. Literally ringlet by ringlet. It looks awesome and stays that way. I will never let anyone else cut my hair again!

I have been going to Stephanie for over two years now and she is AMAZING!!! She knows her stuff and is soooooo sweet. My curly hair just keeps getting better and better due to Stephanie's cuts, knowledge of color, styling tips, and the time and care she puts into her client's hair to make it live up to it's potential! And her updos are amazing too (she did my wedding day updo). Worth every penny! You won't regret it...
(P.S. I too went to Joseph at Signatures before I found Stephanie and I have to say he does know how to maximize curly hair but, if you want a very specific style or cut and a pleasant, relaxing experience, skip his salon and go to Paradis!)

I am so glad I found such a great hairdresser. Previously, I foolishly fell for the recommendations on this site and went to see Joseph who was completely rude and incompetent. I took other recommendations off this site and tried Stephanie and she was the best. I got to the appointment early and she took me as soon as I got there. She was very knowledgeable and my hair has never looked so good. I plan on recommending her to all my curly hair friends.

Stephanie gives the "Ouidad" cut which is the best cut ever. The prices are typical for Philadelphia. For once I love my curly hair.

I live in Salem, Oregon and have yet to find someone who does my curls justice. On a recent trip to Philly--Stephanie was recommended. My curls look fabulous! My husband of 15 years has never complimented my curls like he does now! Hopefully I can find someone closer to my home that can do the same!
