Wanted to give another shoutout to Georgia for helping my daughter love her curls. At 12, she feels so much better about her hair than I ever did, thanks to the amazing haircuts that Georgia has given her that work with her texture rather than fighting it. Georgia, you are amazing!

My daughter Emma just got her third haircut from Georgia and it's the best one yet. She's 11, and really is loving her curls, thanks to Georgia. She wanted a shorter cut, and Georgia really gave her 2c/3a curls a beautiful shape that looks good 2nd and 3rd day. She is Deva certfified and really is an artist, taking lots of time to get the shape exactly right. We love Georgia!

Georgia has long been one of Austin's top curl stylists. I know I will always get a great cut from her, and she really takes her time to make sure it's exactly what I want. But even more important, she has helped my daughter love her curls. She gave Emma a beautiful Deva cut this summer and it has really brought her amazing texture. She now considers her curls to be one of her best features. Thanks Georgia for helping all the great curly girls - and guys - in Central Texas and beyond!

Georgia is a curl miracle worker. Every single haircut reminds me of why I will never let anyone touch my hair whether it's a cut or color. She understands the potential and issues with curly hair. She dry cuts my hair to reshape it and every time it looks absolutely amazing. I get complements left and right about how I get my curls to look so amazing- a part of it is product- which I use Deva Curl but it would never look this good without Georgia's continuous upkeep! She makes my curls look so naturally wonderful. She was previously with Pink Salon and Propaganda Hair Studio and she now has her own salon. Seriously worth taking a trip to Honeycomb Hair Boutique and come out looking like you never though you could with your curly locks perfected.

Thank God I found Georgia again. I went to her based on rave reviews when she was at Pink. I lost track of her after she left Bo Salon but hooked up with her gain just as she was opening Honeycomb. She fit me right in during her soft opening. Sure, the workmen were still finishing the plumbing in her cool new space, but she gave me a great cut, as always and threw in a free deep condition to make up for the noise. This new place is her, which is totally what she deserves! As always, I went with my hair styled just as I usually wear it so she could give me the classic Deva cut, where she cuts my hair while it is dry. I had cheated on her (always a mistake) so it did take longer for the cut (basically a virgin curly cut) than it will in the future but now my hair is springy, the curls don't puff at the ends and I get a million complements.

Georgia was an incredible stylist. I was chopping my hair off to donate, and really wanted to get someone who knew what they were doing. For years I had been afraid to go to any stylists because they continuously massacred my curly hair, but after a referral to Georgia from a good friend of mine with similar (but less intense) curls to mine, I decided to give her a shot for my drastic cut. She was absolutely brilliant. She asked me what I wanted, if I had any preferences, and when I said, "I need 10 inches off for donation, and then after that, just make it look good," she smiled and replied, "I think I can do that." She did. For weeks following my cut, friends of mine raved about my hair, and I referred her to several more of my friends. She was so sweet, friendly, and encouraging, I will never get a cut from anyone else as long as I live within driving distance of Austin.

Georgia has been cutting my hair for several years. Just yesterday I went in with a picture of a cut I thought would do well with my curly hair. We discussed the picture and my unwillingness to "style" my hair on a daily basis and came up with an alternative. My new style is well suited for my curly hair and my lack of hair prowess. Georgia continues to educate herself with the latest and best techniques and products. I strongly recommend Georgia for any type of hair.

I highly recommend Georgia to anyone who needs a great stylist, especially if you have curly hair. I had always struggled with my very curly, thick locks. A few years ago, another client of Georgia's spotted my curly hair and told me about her stylist. On my first visit, Georgia immediately made me feel at ease. She not only used her expertise to give me a great haircut and style, but took the time to teach me how to maintain the style on my own. She has been my stylist ever since. Recently, I went through chemo treatments and lost my hair. When Georgia learned about what I had been going through, she was caring and compassionate. As my hair began to grow back, Georgia gave me a shorter style that helped me through the transition. Now that I am thankfully in remission, she continues to work wonders with my hair, and always gives me great tips about how to style and manage it. I feel very fortunate to have found her!

Georgia is an amazing hair stylist. I have been a loyal customer of hers since 2008 and I will only let her touch my hair! I have 3b/3c hair that goes down to my waist and wanted some style to it! She's caring and compassion and won't give her curly girls any unreasonable or hideous styles. She's a warm heart and makes the all around salon experience a great one. She is devacurl trained and a miracle worker. My hair thanks her so much. I even got color added to my hair by her and my hair was as healthy as if it didn't get any color. I actually found her through naturallycurly.com and encourage all curly girls to check her out. You WON'T regret it!!

Georgia is a 5 star stylist! Since moving to Austin from Brooklyn NYC Georgia has colored and cut my naturally curly and very thick hair. I had my hair done for 25 years at Vidal Sassoon and was really concerned about finding a good stylist. Georgia does not disappoint. I did a lot of research and felt Georgia was the stylist for me.... Boy did I choose well. She's talented, listens to your requests, teaches management , takes pride in her work, is very professional and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend her to anyone I meet. In fact since moving here I get regular compliments about this thick head of curls. Thank-you Georgia!

I have been going to Georgia for over 3 years. She has not only helped me change my hairstyle over the years to work with my big thick curly hair, she has helped me achieve a new level of excellence in hair beauty! I get complements on my cut, color, texture and shine on a daily basis. I decided to donate over 15 inches of my curly hair to locks of love earlier this year and Georgia cut it for me and gave me a kickass style that grew out great both straight or curly depending on how I felt like wearing it. My hair has style and attitude that represents me. She recently started cutting my 12 year old sister's hair as well. My sister wanted her first set of bangs and a hairstyle to look like rock band singer- Georgia gave her just enough edge to make her happy and just enough modesty to make mom happy. My sister loves her new cut and bangs and finds them easy to style for school in the morning. I will never get my haircut from anyone else as long as I'm in Austin! Ashley

I went in to Propaganda Hair Group on recommendation from a friend of mine. I have extremely curly hair that has been massacred every time I've gone to a salon, and had given up on trying anything new with my hair a few years ago. It had grown quite long, and I recently decided to cut most of it off to donate to a foundation that creates wigs for children with cancer, but I really wanted someone who knew what they were doing with curly hair to help me with the process. Georgia was, for lack of a better term, magical with my hair. She was so encouraging, checked in with me a few times to make sure I was absolutely certain, and then chopped off my hair in two ponytails. She smiled at me and told me how great it already looked. Some quick snips, a wash, and 45 minutes later, and my hair looked incredible. I may have started tearing up in the chair. I've never had short hair in my life, and all of my friends were so anxious and nervous about whether or not I was going to hate it, and how long I'd be covering it up with hats for, but at my holiday party that night, everyone raved. People for the entire evening kept commenting on how incredible it looked, and how the change was so refreshing, and that they're so happy that I love it so much, which was the most important part. Georgia made me feel so comfortable, and worked with my hair so well, (which even after 21 years, I still can't figure out most days) that there is absolutely no doubt in my mind that I will be going to her for my salon needs as long as I reside in Austin.

I started getting my hair done by Georgia about 3 years ago. She recently moved to Propaganda and I just had my first haircut there yesterday. The salon has a very upscale trendy feel, but the mood was laid back and relaxed. I really loved that they had ipads for you to play with while you were under the dryer! Definitely a step up from old magazines. However, as nice as the salon was I would follow Georgia anywhere. She could do my hair in her garage! When I first came to Georgia I was suffering from some serious pyramid hair and she gave me the best cut of my life. My curls looked better than they ever had and three years later they still do. She really listens to what you want, but will give you her opinion if she thinks maybe something else will work better for your hair. What she won't do though is suggest something completely opposite of what you asked for or be pushy about you listening to her suggestion like some other stylists. She cuts curly hair dry but will also cut it wet if you prefer. I prefer dry cutting because it allows her to cut each curl very precisely and at the right angle so you get the best curl formation and style. One tip for getting a dry cut is to go to the salon with your hair actually styled and worn down. I usually go to the salon with second day hair. She needs to be able to see how your hair naturally falls in its typical styled state, so no buns or ponytails. She isn't pushy about products but will give you suggestions based on her own experience and what other clients with similar hair have told her they use. I appreciate that because it's not like she is trying to sell you anything she is just trying to help you have the best hair possible. So don't be shy about having the product talk with her. I highly recommend her not only for her skill with curly hair but also because she is great person with a warm and positive spirit. You can tell she really loves what she does and her goal is to make you love you hair. She has definitely succeeded with me :-)
