I went to City Style to get my hair cut after reading some of the reviews online. I must say the the salon and Naomi did not disappoint. She consulted with me before cutting my hair and have great suggestions on what would look best on me. She dry cut my hair into a beautiful style. When she washed my hair she specifically used a sulfate free shampoo and style it using silicone free products at my request. I would come here again to get my hair cut.

I just recently moved to the Ithaca area and I have had zero luck finding a salon/stylist that can do my 3b curls justice. However, thanks to this website I came across City Style and decided to give it a shot. I must say I am very pleased with the results! I got my hair cut rather short for the first time in my life and it looks great! Naomi did a wonderful job! First she cut off my dead half straight ends due to my infamous flatiron then washed my hair. Next she went in and refined my cut added layers and taking off some of the bulk followed by adding product and styling my hair. Overall great job~

I hadn't had much luck finding a decent curly-hair stylist in Ithaca until a friend recommended Naomi, who is great.
She definitely knows curly hair and starts cutting dry, and she asks a lot of questions about your hair and what you'd like her to do.
I trusted her immediately and let her go really short (after she suggested it gently with no pressure at all), and I'm happy I did! Excellent work.
