I've been to Kyle twice now on the recommendation of a client of his. I have super thick curly hair and it is VERY difficult to find someone who knows what the heck they are doing with it!!
My normal experience (once you do find someone that knows what they're doing with curly hair) is that they either take a ton of hair off (um, did you not hear me when I said I wanted to grow it out??) or they give you a trim that is not well shaped because they only cherry picked a few spots to trim.
Hours:
Mon 11 am - 8 pm
Tue-Fri 10 am - 8 pm
Sat 10 am - 5 pm
Sun 12 pm - 5 pm
With Kyle, neither is the case. He really knows how to cut curly hair well, and he listens carefully and does what you ask. Twice now, I've gone to him to get my hair trimmed and reshaped. He really understands how to shape the hair so it grows out well. I was able to wait several months before going back, which helps keep expenses down.
And I should mention that he's a very personable and fun guy to talk to as well! The salon is clean and well maintained and they always have good music on. I would recommend Kyle to anyone, but especially those with curly hair! He's great. You barely have to tell him anything and he makes you look amazing.
