Keith Alexander won my heart and my hair today. He is FANTASTIC. I am a very happy, satisfied customer. I went in for a badly needed trim and got that and a conditioning treatment. I really like his attitude and his approach toward natural hair. He appreciates it, actually likes doing it (his words), and understands what it needs to be healthy. He is all about us super curly girls loving our hair as it is. I also like that he asked me how I wear it and styled it in a way that I like, instead of pushing a style he felt was right on me. I know that's how it should be, but in my experience, that has not always been the case. He did blow my hair out to stretch it before cutting, but then applied products and moisturizers that curled it back up, then put twists in(!), and styled it in a lovely twistout after drying under the hooded dryer. I've been searching for a stylist in this city for 2 years and I finally found him.

I have 4a-b hair and he understood the proper way of washing it without adding additional tangles and was also careful on how he detangled my hair, adding more conditioner as needed. Also like the fact he decided to trim my very dry hair, as is not by blow drying it.
