I tried Amanda on a whim because I saw she had curly hair (from her stylist photo) and because Studio 206 was voted #2 on the Tribune's People's Choice Awards. It paid off because she was great! Even though she's relatively new, she was confident working with my thick, challenging hair and followed through with a nice cut. She's attuned to curly hair issues and takes her time. Plus her head and neck massage was excellent. Would recommend!

Being new to the area, I had to make a stab at a stylist, since there were no current reviews on this site. I chose Studio 206 because it was voted #2 in the Grand Haven Tribune's peoples choice awards, then picked Amanda from her picture because she has curly hair herself. I'm glad I did! She did a great job cutting my challenging part 2A, part 2C hair. Even though she has only a few years experience, she knows what she's doing and is attuned to curly hair issues. She took her time and did not get frazzled or cut corners, even with another client waiting. Plus she gives a wonderful scalp massage! Would recommend.
