The Curly Style: Classic waves

Who it Works Best for: Type 2s

How to Get the Look: Start on wet hair and use Straight Time Glaze before blow drying 80% dry. Part into sections and blow out into loops or use hot rollers to set the wave. Use Shaping Spray before allowing the hair to set for 10 minutes. Release curls from rollers/loops and run your fingers through for a more natural look. Take a section of hair from temple to temple and secure it to the crown area to create extra lift and accentuate the side waves.

Christo’s Celebrity Corner: Carrie Underwood

Carrie

The Curly Style: Beautiful half updo

Who it Works Best for: Wavy to loose curls

How to Get the Look: I suggest that you start on dry hair and use a curling iron to define curls. Tease the crown area to create lift. Take both sides of front layer and loosely twist to the back. Secure with a bobby pin. Use a natural boar bristle brush to smooth the bangs behind the ear. Apply Unruly Paste to secure to smooth the bang area. Spray Glow & Shine and Shaping spray to hold the style all night long. This is a great style for a midnight gala or dinner with friends; very sexy and chic.

Part your hair in sections starting from the top. Use a natural boar bristle brush and smooth out the hair before looping and securing it with a bobby pin. Proceed to the next section until you are finished with all sections. Spray Shaping Spray for hold and let it set for 5 minutes. Christo’s Celebrity Corner: Kelly Rowland

How to Get the Look: Kelly’s curl looks fantastic on her. Start on wet hair and part into sections. Apply a mixture of Structura Lotion and Control II Gel to each section. Diffuse hair until dry. Finish by using a curling iron on the top outer layer for more defined curls. Use Structura Spray and Glow & Shine for hold, resistance against humidity and a touch of glamor.

Christo’s Celebrity Corner: Sara Rue

The Curly Style: Classic curls

Who it Works Best for: Curly hair.

How to Get the Look: I love Sara’s curls. They are pretty and can be easily achieved. The only thing I would do different with this style is to add duck bill clips around the crown area to give the top layer more lift so that it doesn’t look flat. To get this modified style: Wet hair, part hair into sections and add Structura Lotion to each section. When you finish all sections add duck bill clip on the top layer and air dry or diffuse. When hair is dry take out clips and smooth away flyaways with Finishing Pomade. Finish with Glow and Shine.

Christo’s Celebrity Corner: Abbie Cornish

The Curly Style: Classic loose waves

Who it Works Best for: Straight to wavy hair.

How to Get the Look: Wet hair, use Bio-Gel Mousse, flip hair and use a blow dryer to dry up to 80%. Section semi-dry hair and then loop each section into a big loop with a natural boar bristle brush. Spray Shaping Spray over the brush and go onto the next section. Leave the loops in until the entire head is finished. After your hair has set, release the hair and enjoy glamorous waves.

Get Beautiful Coily Hair Like Aisha Cain

The Curly Style: Freeform coils

Who it Works Best for:Tighter curls and kinky

How to Get the Look: Aisha has a beautiful coily look that can be easily achieved. To get this style, wet hair, add Control II Gel and diffuse. Use Unruly Paste to tame unruly curls and add more definition so that your coils don’t look frizzy. Simply use a fingertip amount of paste and apply it to your curls. Finish with Glow and Shine.

Get Loose Curls like Mia Wasikowska

The Curly Style: Long, loose layers

Who it Works Best for: Waves or loose curls

How to Get the Look: I love Mia’s loose curl. To get this style: Section wet hair, apply Bio Gel Mousse and then diffuse. For added lift and definition, spritz Curl Reform on the top layer of dry hair and use a curling iron to frame the curls around the face.

You Can Get Cute Spirals Like Haley Marie Norman

The Curly Cut: The cut has to be done with this style in mind as the curls have to be place in front of the face so that they can frame it perfectly.

Who it Works Best For: This is a fantastic natural look for coily curls. The shape works on Haley’s face and the long bangs help to frame the face.

How to Get the Look: Prepare hair with Repair Styling Cream. Part your hair into 5 sections. Mix equal parts of Curlisto Structura Lotion with Control II Gel. Apply mixture to each section starting at the nape of the next. Once you finish all sections, diffuse hair until dry. Use a fingertip amount of Unruly Paste to smooth hair and get rid of flyaways. Finish with Structura Spray for hold and a touch of Glow and Shine.
