Oatmeal

Oatmeal exfoliates

Honey Yogurt Face Mask

This simple mask both exfoliates and hydrates, making it suitable for just about any skin type.

1 tablespoon of finely ground oatmeal 1 tablespoon of plain organic yogurt A few drops of honey

Mix the yogurt and oatmeal in a bowl and stir in drops of warm honey. To warm the honey, simply place a spoon under hot water for a minute, and pour the honey onto the spoon. The honey will melt as soon as it touches the hot spoon. Apply the mask over your face and neck, avoiding the eye area. Let set for ten minutes. Rinse off your mask with warm water, and finish with a moisturizer.

Carrots

Carrots help rebuild skin collagen

Carrot Avocado Mask for Face and Body

There are many variations of the classic green avocado mask used by women for ages. This mask adds a touch of carrot, which is rich in beta-carotene and antioxidants to help rebuild skin collagen and improve tone and texture.

1 mashed avocado 1 cooked and mashed carrot ½ cup of heavy cream 1 egg 3 tablespoons of honey

Simply mix all the ingredients above and apply the mask to your face or dry areas of your body (hands, elbows, and feet). Wait for ten to fifteen minutes, and rinse off your mask with cool water.
