I have been experimenting with so many different curly products throughout the months. While I fell in love with so many of them, it made choosing my favorites quite difficult! I finally narrowed it down to my ultimate must have products. While choosing my 2015 favorites curly hair products, moisture, scent, and ingredients played a big factor. 3A curlies, what are your Holy Grails and why?

All of these products are easily online-accessible and can be bought at either your local drug/grocery store, NaturallyCurly, or Amazon.

Sulfate-Free Shampoos

SheaMoisture Coconut & Hibiscus Curl & Shine Shampoo

  • Where to buy it: NaturallyCurly or Walgreens
  • This product is great-- not only does it smell heavenly, but it also contains all natural ingredients. It is a gentle, non-drying shampoo for curls and is my favorite to use.

Briogeo Be Gentle, Be Kind Cleansing Shampoo

  • Where to buy it: NaturallyCurly
  • I love this shampoo because it truly is a gentle and light cleanser and it smells great. The only con about this product is that it can leave your hair feeling slightly squeaky-clean.

Cleansing Conditioners

Curl Junkie Daily Fix Cleansing Conditioner

  • Where to buy it: NaturallyCurly
  • This cleanser is my ultimate go-to product. I love the way this product smells and how quickly and gently it detangles my hair. It has such a nice smooth consistency to it and is simply a must-try!

Daily Conditioners

SheaMoisture Coconut & Hibiscus Curl & Shine Conditioner

  • Where to buy it: NaturallyCurly or Walgreens
  • While this product is a bit thick in consistency, it smells great, contains all natural ingredients, and does wonderful things for your hair! A great daily conditioner!

Curl Junkie Beauticurls Argan & Olive Oil Daily Hair Conditioner

  • Where to buy it: NaturallyCurly
  • This conditioner is a must-try--it smells lovely, is a great detangler and has a smooth silky consistency. A great daily conditioner!  

Leave-in Conditioner

Curl Junkie Curl Assurance Smoothing Lotion

  • Where to buy it: NaturallyCurly
  • This is my ultimate favorite moisturizer/leave-in. I love how it smells. This product will leave your hair smelling like a freshly baked cupcake. It has a light pink consistency and leaves your hair feeling deeply moisturized.
  • To apply: For best results, after your done showering, flip your hair over and apply it to sopping wet hair.

Deep Conditioner

Eden BodyWorks Jojoba Monoi Deep Conditioner

  • Where to buy it: NaturallyCurly
  • This is deep conditioner truly does the job in giving my hair the moisture it needs. I love how my hair feels afterwards--the only con to this product is that it smells a bit like minty medicine.
  • To apply: Apply this to sopping wet hair, put on a cap, put on a heated cap over that, and leave it in for about 15-20 minutes!

Oil

Moroccan Oil Hair Treatment

  • Where to buy it: Amazon
  • This has been a product that I have never been able to live without. I put a tiny bit into my hair after I have applied my styling gel. This oil smells heavenly and gives your curls the shine it needs.

Styling Gel

Redken Curvaceous Ringlet Perfecting Lotion (For Elastic Curls)

  • Where to buy it: Your local grocery store or Amazon
  • Out of the styling gels I have tried so far, Redken’s Curvaceous Ringlet has been the gel that I cannot live without! It is a smooth lotion that not only smells great, but also defines curls and brings them back to life!
  • To apply: Apply this to sopping wet hair after you apply your moisturizer!
