Some of the best group pictures are created at hair events, so make sure you jump in every photo opp. Wear something cute and that will stand out from the crowd, and show off your natural curls–I have made the mistake before of trying a new style for an event, and then being the only one in the pictures without my natural curls on show!
FIND YOUR HAIR TWIN
With so many varieties of races, backgrounds, curl patterns and hairstyles, you are bound to spot someone with similar hair to yours. Hound them and find out how they deal with their hair; you may learn about some new products or techniques to try.

Want to grow your following? This is the best way to do so! Posting a selfie with other popular curlies can encourage their audience to learn about you–just make sure you’re tagged in their pic! You can ask the bloggers questions in person (we don’t bite, well most don’t! lol”>. They can give you the push in the right direction to start your own blog or YouTube channel. When I went to SunKissAlba’s meet and greet, she gave me some great advice that helped me with my own journey.

Here in the UK/London, most natural hair events take place from May-August, which means you can get a great day out of it! Attend a park meetup and enjoy the company, beauty, and weather. Last year I had a great time tanning and posing with fellow curlies.
