No matter what kind of curls you have, you can feel confident wearing your hair down and out! For wavies, this is easy, but curlies and kinkies might be a little more hesitant. You girls don’t have to be!
Experiment with some loose curly hairstyles before the big day and see which ones make you feel more comfortable. For instance, you curly-kinkies and kinkies might like doing twists or bantu knots in your hair. To give some pizzazz to an otherwise ordinary curly hairstyle, try out different parts. You can try a center part, a slight off-center part, or a side part. If you have wavy hair that’s somewhat straight at the roots, you can even begin your part line at the end of your eyebrows on one side, and then pull the hair around the front of your forehead for a very trendy look!
The Half Updo
This hairstyle is a great choice for curlies who want to wear their hair down, but who maybe battle with puffiness and don’t have time to do something like a twist-out to tame it. Comb through some leave-in conditioner, and then comb just the top part of your hair back and secure with a clip. If you’re going for a more “traditional” half-updo, clip your hair near your crown. For a softer look, clip it near the nape of your neck.

Obviously they’ll leave hair down for your man to caress, but the great thing about ponytails is that you won’t have to worry about the rest of your hair frizzing out.
For some sexy ponytail styles, try pulling your ponytail way up high, slightly higher than you crown if you have long hair. You could also sport a low-lying side ponytail and pull some wisps of curls out around your hairline, or double up and go for two low-lying side ponytails.
