1. START ON CLEAN, PRE-STRETCHED HAIR OR WET, DETANGLED HAIR
For this hairstyle, you want to ensure that your hair is clean, properly detangled and stretched so it can lay flat nicely without any bumps or swelling. To stretch your hair, you can use a hair straightener and a heat protectant or heatless methods such as braiding, twisting, or threading your hair with wool. Similarly, you can start on wet, detangled hair (say, immediately after a wash) that has not been stretched.
2. SLEEK YOUR HAIR DOWN
