In the world inhabited by people who have the desire for constant change in personal fashion and style, this new permanent hair coloring system by Pravana might be right up your alley.

Yesterday the popular brand posted a couple of videos showcasing a heat-activated hair dye; when a blow dryer was applied to the crown, the clients’ hair colors changed right before our eyes.

And although they are still keeping hush about the specifics regarding the seemingly magical formula, I can assume it is similar to the way a mood ring works: a coating of crystals that twist according to temperature changes, which change their molecular structure and in turn, alter the light-reflecting wavelengths.

While blorange hair and rainbow box braids continue to break the internet, Pravana has certainly scratched the itch that some of us who crave a permanent change and wouldn’t mind a little surprise (or two”> incorporated into the whole process. They already had us going bananas for the glow-in-the-dark top coat which debuted just two seasons ago.
