Didi has been styling my hair for about a year now. I'm a full-time working mom of two very small kids with I guess 2B hair and in the choice between sleep and hair, I choose sleep. She's worked with my particular needs and has a very practical approach. She keeps everything very simple and has given me tips for managing it given that I sleep on it wet. Her prices are very reasonable for the area and she's a neat person who pays attention to your consultation and does what you ask -- while also providing solid recommendations. For those who want a Lorraine-Massey style cut, she doesn't do a "curly girl"-dry-cut but I've been very pleased with her results (I'm not a CG devotee -- I've done it, but it didn't work miracles for me). I found her through the Washingtonian, for those in the area.
