I ABSOLUTELY love these sisters. I do not agree with some of these negative reviews and sorry some of you feel this way. As far as I am concerned, they are very sincere and sweet. They feel like family to me. I have been going to them off and on for over 3 years. They have colored my hair so well people stop me on the street I use to carry their cards. Their products smell so good I get the same effect from strangers - stopping me to ask what it is. I just got a silkener and trim and I could not be more pleased. Now that they are so busy and expanding, the salon has changed. For the better. Lil refreshments like a spa. Plus I am from Brooklyn, so I love the whole Brownstone feeling.
They also listen to you. After filling out an exhaustive questionaire, they talk to you and assess your hair needs and goals.
Now, I have to admit it is pricey, but you get what you pay for and I would not trust a trim or silkener or color to anyone else. They truly get it. - Simone Harris

I've been here twice. Yes it's VERY expensive but I was happy with the results. I've gotten many compliments on my hair since. I was growing out a relaxer and let them cut it all off (had about 3-4 inches of new growth). I must say unlike other comments I've read, when I called the person on the phone was very nice. One time I called when I didn't have a lot of new growth and she nicely suggested I wait for a little more growth before making an appointment. When I had my appt I also decided to get some color. It was the best color job I've had. No smell afterwards and it looked great! I didn't experience any rudeness from anyone at the salon. One note: I am looking for a less expensive alternative because I can't afford to pay $$$$ for a visit, even if it is once a year. My hair is a combo of 3c/4a.
