Not only does Deena have very groovy loose-curl, long, beach hair but she knows to put products in wet hair, she respected my wish to not be shampooed and although she put tons of 'cones in my hair and probably thought I was nuts to not shampoo, she was non-judgemental and non-dismissive.
She cuts wet but has a great technique of layering curls that insures the absence of shelves, steps, mushroom cuts or triangles. She let me leave with wet hair, which I must admit, I went right home to re-do but the cut itself was great. I was very nervous to let anyone but Devachan cut my hair but I'm glad I went because now NYC is a luxury not a neccessity.
I highly recommend her.
