National Geographic sent one of its best photographers to try to capture the blur of showman and Master Stylist Elie Gerdak’s $1,500 scissors as they flew around the head of the model on an electric blue stage in Elie Elie’s Tysons Corner, Virg. salon. Out of the tangled mess of frizz emerged the most unbelievably beautiful head of cascading, shiny curls.
