After 3 rounds with the famous "Tamara Mooney" from Salon Bella (she's no longer with them) convincing me that razoring the ends was great if the stylist knew what she was doing - my frizzy/damaged ends and pocketbook needed a break. I'm a low maintenance, makeup free girl who wears scrubs everyday. All I want is beautiful hair and eyebrows - is that too much to ask? Michelle at Bella Vita salon on Fir Street in Little Italy is an eccentric sweetheart who may seem terrifying with a pair of scissors but has consistently given me the best hair cut EVER. I've been to her for over a year now and she is better than any haircutter I've had in San Francisco, London or Tokyo. I am often complimented by random people on the street for my "beautiful hair". Not to mention that curly girls (and guys!) are constantly asking me what products I use. I swear, it's 100 percent Michelle from Bella Vita (there's no product secret). There's a picture of her as a 3 year old cutting her brothers hair - and my results prove that this really is her calling. So yeah, she's crazy but you'll not regret your hair cut!
