Like another reviewer experienced, Alanna gave me the best haircut of my life. The makeover haircut is highly recommended. She took her time and really listened. I am trying to let my naturally gray hair grow out and get rid of the colored ends. I told her I was willing to go shorter, but didn't want to look like an old lady. She gave me a terrific, hip cut that was longer in front and shorter in back. She spent two hours cutting and gave me a cut that really enhanced and tamed my curls. I have had so many compliments, I've lost count! Alanna will consult with you and do a makeover cut, then one of her other stylists takes over for future visits. Next time I will see Kate who has received fantastic reviews on Citysearch. I couldn't be happier, and will definitely be back!

I just had the best cut of my LIFE with Kate! Not only was she smiley and friendly from the moment I walked in, but she was super helpful in giving me tips for my curly hair. My hair was literally a disaster before, and Kate transformed the layers and the style into something that is totally cute and manageable!
Even though I'm moving in a week, I'll absolutely be back to Maine just to get my hair cut with Kate. Thank you so much!

Oh my god, Alanna rocks!! My curly hair has been out of control for way too long, and I've had some traumatic cuts by stylists who claim to know how to cut curly hair. Alanna took the time to listen to what I wanted, then offered her suggestion for a totally new look. It was pretty scary, especially since she recommended going very short, but i LOVE IT!! She was the first stylist who actually listened to me, and wanted to make sure that I got what I wanted. She gave me a cut that looks great and doesn't require a whole lot of work! If you need a new style, Alanna is the one you need to see! Splurge and do the Makeover Cut with her. You won't regret it. :)
