I started off with really unruly hair, frizz everywhere, lots of knots, waves, straight pieces, and barely any curls, except for my bottom layer. Not to mention that my hair went in every direction and poofed around me.
After a very enjoyable experience with Mario, who is very funny and has a real conversation with you during the haircut, I have very defined curls. My hair is still about the same length (below waist), give or take an inch when it's wet and combed, but now my hair curls up, shrinking a whole 6 inches.
And it's not just a haircut. It's a total experience. The salon is beautiful (they have a secret garden with a pond out back) and everyone is so friendly.
Now my straight haired sister isn't embarrassed to be in public with me. I will definitely be going back. And totally forget about the price. You'll gladly shell out for this.

This salon was recommended by a friend because they carry the DevaCurl products. Had my hair colored and cut by Shelly who is fantastic. Can't say enough about her. My hair needed some help after being botched by a previous stylist. Shelly really seemed to understand curly hair. Absolutely pleased with her work and will definitely go back for next haircut in a few months. My thick, curly hair has never looked or felt any more healthier.
