Stevie is a stuck up money hungry stylist who cares nothing about her clients just their money. This is evidenced by the fact that she charges more for a haircut than they do in New York City and blames it on the contract with Ouidad which is rediculous. Furthermore this cut is not suitable for every curly person. It is rediculous that one would have to pay 150.00 for a hair cut. I can understand paying a top notch well named stylist that much or even more but she is mediocre at best. Her skills are not worth charge. Additionally just like the review above she will ad things on and not bother to tell you there is a charge. So when you walk to the counter expecting your bill to be 250.00 and they tell you it is 400.00, you have no choice but to pay it. I will never ever go to this salon again.

Stevie is amazing! I used to pay $500 for a cut and color in Dallas; Stevie does a better job for a fraction of the cost. After moving back to Oklahoma, I didn't think I'd ever find someone who could cut curly hair... Stevie saved my hair! She listens to my needs, wants, and desires. Now that I have been going to her for several years, I just tell her to do what she needs/wants and she never disappoints. Stevie called me several times before the price change so that I could make an appointment prior to the price hike. As far as the "extras" she always ask before doing the deep conditioning and everything. I do the deep conditioning at home, so I rarely have it done in the salon which helps save. Stevie is a client oriented hair expert that I can't say enough nice things about. I have recommended her to several friends and they are also quite pleased with her. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND HAVING STEVIE CUT AND STYLE YOUR HAIR. She'll even teach you how style your curly locks to where you never have a bad hair day.

Stevie saved my hair! I was used to $500 cut & color down in Dallas. After moving back to Oklahoma I had a heck of a time finding someone who can cut curly hair. Stevie does an amazing job for a fraction of the cost of what I was paying in Dallas. She listens to my needs, wants, and desires. She offers suggestions. I've been going to her for several years; now when I walk in, I just tell her to do as she wants and needs. She never disappoints. I read another review regarding price. I can only speak from my personal experience, but when the price change occurred, she called me several weeks in advanced and tell me about the price change. She also mentioned every time I went in after the change about the deep conditioning. I only do the deep conditioning at the salon on occasion. I prefer to do it at home. I BROKE DOWN AND DECIDED TO GET A OUIDAD CUT AFTER HAVING NO LUCK GETTING MY CURLY HAIR BACK TO NORMAL ( MY HAIR TEXTURE CHANGED AFTER CUTTING MY HAIR OFF INTO A BOB AND STRAIGHTING IT FOR ATLEAST 2 YRS. IT WAS MORE WAVE AND STRAIGHT THEN ACTUAL CURL.) SO I DECIDED TO MAKE AN APPOINTMENT AT SCHARDEIN & CO. BECAUSE THEY ARE THE ONLY PEOPLE IN OKLAHOMA THAT OFFER THIS AMAZING CUT AND ELISA IS TOP NOTCH IN MY OPINION. SHE WAS VERY FRIENDLY AND GOT LOTS OF INFORMATION ABOUT MY HAIR; FROM MY PRODUCT REGIMEN, TO HOW OFTEN I WASH MY HAIR, TO WHAT I WOULD LIKE TO ACHIEVE FROM MY CUT. Stevie is Ouidad certified and extremely proud of it. I have been a customer of hers for four years and have chin-length curly hair and she's now charging $150 just for a haircut. And she is absolutely terrible about the add-ons. At the shampoo bowl, she'll say something like "oh, I'm going to do a deep condition on you today" ... as if she's throwing that in as a special freebie with the ridiculously expensive haircut, but--nope-- there's an extra $60 charge on the bill for a deep treatment. The Ouidad cut is nice and my hair has a better shape today than ever before, but I don't think I need a Ouidad cut every 8 weeks and my hair started to get a bit too thinned out ... but she always charges the same $150. I'm not going back ... she's just gotten way too expensive. Oh, and she always tries to get out of fixing my hair ... "do you mind leaving wet today" ... Heck no, with the price you're charging me! In sum, I think she's technically good at the Ouidad cut and style, but I cannot justify the price and she started to annoy me with the surprise add ons.

Sommer is quite possibly the best curly stylist I've ever had the pleasure of seeing. She really understands the way curly hair functions and her ability to communicate with me about my hair, wants, and needs both in cut and styling product selection. She far surpasses any stylist I have ever seen. I can't praise her enough. I've had more comments on how amazing my hair looks since I started going to her than ever before in my life and it's true; my hair looks amazing.
