The masterminds at CAJH are Justin and Alain. Justin is an amazing colorist and Alain is an amazing stylist. I have been getting my tresses made beautiful by them for many years. You can get an amazing natural look as well as a funky more creative do. Both Justin and Alain are very nice, down to earth guys who keep up with the latest trends and are at the "cutting edge"! I would definitely recommend this salon, whether you're male or female, whether your hair is curly or straight, long or short.

Justin and Alain are great! I live in Los Angeles, CA but am in Montreal for about 2 months for my husband's business. I have super curly hair that is quite gray so it isn't just one texture. I have tried a bunch of different places in LA and haven't been completely happy with anyone. I found these guys on the web and decided to give them a try. Justin was great. He spent time before he washed my hair looking at it and talking to me about what I was looking for. During the cut, he explained the process he was using to cut it and his goal. He styled it beautifully and answered a bunch of questions I had about styling curly and straight. He was super patient and incredibly nice.
I also saw Alain with a customer. He was just as patient and nice and her hair looked amazing also.
The studio is a great loft space that is really relaxed. My 6 month old daughter was with me in her stroller. Alain and Justin helped me up the stairs to their second floor studio. Overall, I wish they were in LA!
