I recommend that anyone with curly hair goes to see Kari. Kari took the time to explain my curl pattern and we discussed how she would cut my hair to best fit my curls. Not only did she cut my hair, but she provided me with in-depth curly hair education as well. She explained best curly hair practices and showed me how to best put product in. Kari is amazing. From my first appointment, it was clear she knew about curly hair; it helps that she is a curly girl too!. Kari spends the time to not only provide amazing service but she teaches you how to work with your hair. I thought I knew my hair but Kari's knowledge and leading edge information keeps my hair it great shape. She is up-to-date on products for curly hair which impresses me. I have been going to her almost two years now and well she is stuck with me. It is more than magic she performs, but the compliments I receive make me feel like my visits to Kari are with an amazing artist 'of curly hair'.

Kari is a miracle worker for curly hair! Her salon is a bit of a drive, but well worth the trip. I have never had such great haircuts. She has curly hair and understands how to work with it. She also educates you on how to work with your curls and embrace them. Would highly recommend her for anyone with curly hair.

Having lived with and hated my curls for 30 years, I can finally say I have found a stylist that makes me look and feel great! I've had chemically straightened hair for several years but stopped straightening while pregnant. After finding Kari, I will no longer be straightening my hair. She is a miracle worker. She is friendly and easy to talk to. I would highly recommend Kari to anyone with curls!

I had the 'tent' look going on before I had my appointment with Kari. Once I was finished, I was SO amazed by the difference! I was so pleased with the outcome! I truly recommend her to anyone with any type of hair (straight, wavy, curly, ect.), but mostly, to people with curly, thick, frizzy hair. She's very sweet and knows exactly what she's doing. I plan on only seeing her in the future!

It has been more than a week and I am still getting compliments on my hair! I can wear it curly or straight and it is super easy to style! I always thought that short hair took more time to style but in this case Kari worked with the way my hair naturally fell so I don't have to fight with it anymore. Thank you!
Oh! I was worried about my hair getting rained on when I wore it straight, but I don't have to worry about that either. When it goes from straight to rained on, I end up with a completely different looking hairdo that still looks adorable with a little extra waive/curl!
ps. Kari also provides a great atmosphere and always has a cup of coffee ready to serve :)

My mom, who has straight hair, recommended her to me. She has so much information about curly hair you'll wonder why you ever went any where else to get your hair cut. She does such a good job. Evaluates each curl as there own cuts them according to your preferred length. She let's you know techniques and tips for washing, conditioning, and styling. Would recommend to anyone with curly hair.

Kari knows curly hair! She HAS curly hair which really helps. She has been cutting my hair for the past six years and does a wonderful job! I had her relax my hair the last time and it turned out terrific! I refer all my curly hair friends to her!! Her salon is adorable as well! Well worth the drive and money. Oh! You have to get the Curl Keeper... she sells as well. It's changed my life!! I LOVE that stuff. Buy the big bottle because you will absolutely love what it does to your hair. No stiff curls anymore. And no more frizzies!! You will NOT be disappointed with Kari or the Curl Keeper!
