Even though I moved 3 hours away from Athens, I still come to Joni to get my hair cut. She is that good! I first started going to Joni when I was in college, and loved her. She is so knowledgeable about curly hair. Joni takes the time to really study your hair and how it naturally curls. No one else can cut my hair like Joni can. If you have curly hair, you must go to her! You won't regret it!

I have never gotten my hair cut in a curly state so I was very afraid but as soon as I sat in her chair I immediately felt comfortable. She is so sweet, down to earth, and knowledgable about curls that its really easy to trust her with your hair. Every curly girl knows how long it takes to grow our hair out, and she takes that into consideration when deciding the best cut for you based on your curl pattern and facial structure. I will definitely be going back to her for any hair needs because she knows every tip and trick to have your curls rocking! Oh and she is a curly girl too :)

I have been going to Joni for several years. Before, I hated my curly hair... she has made me love it! Joni is professional, knowledgeable, friendly, accessible, and overall WONDERFUL! Even after my hair changed texture (and back again) after my pregnancies, Joni always makes my hair look great... She recently moved to Divine from another salon and I, of course, followed her (I would follow her across the country, actually!).
If you have curly hair or if you have children with curly hair and live in the Athens area - GO SEE JONI!! Save yourself and your children the struggle and headache of dealing with improperly cut curly hair. As a curly herself, Joni knows what to do... I can't say enough positive things!

Joni Costello is a magician with scissors for curlies! I always hated my curly hair - until I met her a few years ago. She is so friendly, knowledgeable, and just downright awesome! Even through my pregnancies (and my hair totally changing textures and then changing back...) she knew exactly how to make me look my absolute best.
She recently moved to Divine from another salon and I, of course, followed her! (I would actually follow her all the way across the country!) This new environment has just made her even better...

I started going to Joni three years ago after a coworker recommended her. I learned after that recommendation that three more people I knew went to Joni regularly and they all had great hair. I had always had thick, straight hair with an annoying wave down the middle of the back of my head. When I met Joni, she informed me that I actually had wavy hair all over and encouraged me to begin styling it naturally (without drying straight). I had also usually kept my hair no longer than shoulder length, usually shorter. I now have long wavy hair that I can't believe is mine! Joni has been great, I won't trust anyone else with my hair. I followed Joni from the salon she was at when I began going to her to the salon she has recently moved to, Divine Salon, Spa & Gifts. In the past, my thick hair may have gotten a cursory layering from a salon. Now, Joni takes time to sculpt my waves, my hair has a "ropey" look now, just these beautiful waves that other people use curling irons to acheive. Thanks, Joni, my Curly Specialist!
