I have only ever had one hair cut before and it wasn't the best and after having looked for a curly hair stylist for years, I had given up. I came across the numerous reviews about Rebecca on this website and decided to give her a shot and I cannot stress enough how glad I am that I did! Rebecca is amazing! I heard that she cuts hair dry so I came in with my regular wash and go to make sure that she cut my 3b hair to match my regular hair style. She asked me what exactly what I wanted to get done, how much I wanted cut off, etc. I told her I wanted to get layers without losing too much length. And she did exactly that! After just a couple snips, my hair was already coming back to life. She talked to me about my hair regimen and gave me her suggestions. I could have not have been more satisfied with my experience, I highly recommend her to anybody who is nervous or hesitant about getting their hair cut.

I have had my curly hair (type 3a) cut for 30 years. I have personallu experienced the horror of stylists who thought I'd look "cute" in bangs, lost themselves in chopping off and thinning massive amounts of my hear as if in a trance watching the hair fall, or those ignorant of how curly hair and gravity work when cut. In all my 30 years of getting hair cuts i have never, not ever, had a dry cut. Rebecca understood my hair, cut it dry and did an excellent job. And i dont use those words lightly. As a further testement to Rebecca's professionalism and the quality of customer service of Honey Salon, they informed me that, as a matter of course they invited clients (and me) to come back free of charge to address any outstanding concerns, adjustments or corrections with the hair cut they gave me. I have never, in all my years of getting salon help with my hair, ever ever had an offer like this. Seriously. I have lived in four provinces and had haircuts in multiple cities or towns in each, and not once have I experienced this quality of customer service from a salon. As it stood, Rebecca's hair cut was perfectly shaped, retained length (which was a request I made), framed my face beautifully, and showed off the curls in my hair perfectly through the layers she created. It makes so much sense to cut curly hair dry that it truly baffles me that most salons arent trained in it and dont offer it. When i went home and washed and styled my hair myself i felt that a few more layers were needed on one side of my head. Tentatively i called honey salon, hoping they would honor their policy of fixing it free of charge but half expecting they wouldn't. I was shocked to discover that not only did they honor their policy but i was welcomed with courtesy and the same professionalism i had experienced in my first appointment. I would not hesitate to recommend someone to visit honey salon and rebecca in particlar and check out what they can do for you and your curls. Im so glad i did!

I can't say enough about this salon! Rebecca is ia wizard with curly mops like mine! After fifteen years searching this city for a good curly hairstylist...I found this gem through the curly haired.com website and I'm thrilled! After 50 years fighting my curl with blow dryers and flat irons, Rebecca has created a cut and style that I am proud to wear curly! The staff are all creative and amazing in this salon! Such a great, comfortable place to chill for a few hours while they pamper....then walk out looking like a star! Way to go Honey Hair Team! you Rock!

Finally!!!! I have had some really interesting hair cuts and colors over the years and had resigned to wearing my hair tied back all the time. Rebecca totally understood my frustrations and worked with me to come up with a game plan. I left the salon with pretty hair and I'm so thrilled! I have never had a good haircut from a salon, and was reluctant to try again, but was in desperate need of a cut, so I bit the bullet and made an appointment with Rebecca. I was not disappointed! She was able to update the layers and remove dead weight, allowing my hair to feel light and fresh, and managing to remove barely any length, exactly what I wanted! She cuts curls dry, and then washes and styles it to make sure it is perfect. She knows her curls, and the whole atmosphere of the salon was laid back and welcoming. I will definitely be visiting again!

I visited Honey Salon on the recommendation of a coworker. I was looking for a new stylist...great I nearly for curly hair are hard to find and my last one moved to a different city. Rebecca was helpful, forthright and didn't just say things because they might be what I wanted to hear. Best colour and cut I've had in years! My red hair has become shot through with *gasp!* grey which is hard enough to deal with. Other hairdressers have insisted on colours ranging from auburn to mahogany. All I wanted was for it to look like my natural hair colour and Rebecca was able to do that and more. A few highlights and some copper lowlights, a terrific cut done dry and my hair looks great. I let her cut my bob (straggly and i was trying to let the layers grow in from the last texturizing crazed stylist);into something even shorter based on some photos I showed her and she really made it work. Also...tons of compliments since getting this done yesterday. I'll be back!

I have been going to this salon for a few months now as my stylist switched salons. I love the calm, comfortable and friendly atmosphere. The staff is knowledgable and work in a very collaborative environment. Lindsey is the stylist I have have seen there, but get the impression that one would be well served by anyone there. Highly recommend Lindsey! She has great skill when it comes to dealing with curly hair.

Rebecca is awesome! I have very fine naturally curly hair that tends to go flatter on the side I sleep on. Her cuts always look really great and when I get lazy between cuts they grow out really well! I also like that they do dry cutting, since my hair doesn't curl totally evenly when it is cut wet it always needs to be adjusted after drying and it would wind up shorter than I wanted at previous salons.
Everyone has complimented me on my secretly low maintenance hair!
