Sandy is the best curly hairstylist I know! She has been cutting my curly hair since I was 17 (I'm not 23). All I have to do is show her my picture of "hair goals," and she knows what to do. She's great at shaping my hair. She's also great at coloring. I am African-American and White. It has always been important to me to find someone who can do my textured hair properly. Thanks Sandy!

She listened to all my woes, my hair history, trusted me when I told her that my waves don't shrink much (so cut more off!), & patiently taught me some more tips on how to make my hair maintain its curl. I found Sandy my first semester of college in Cleveland after getting my hair cut every six weeks or so back in Chicago at a curly hair salon and she was able to cut my hair almost exactly the same way with ease. Sandy gives good suggestions for hair care and styling each visit I make and in addition to getting my hair cut the way I like it, she also imparts some of her curly hair wisdom to me! I find the time to take an hour-long RTA journey to get to Sandy's salon because she does the best job with my hair and I am so pleased to have found her!

I live approx 60 miles from Sandy's salon. I was a stylist in northeast Ohio for 15 years and currently working in another field. I have had a difficult time and went through many stylists that obviously had no idea what to do with my curls. I found Sandy on this website when she was with a previous salon and received the best reviews in Ohio. Luckily she was only an hours away. Sandy will listen to you, extend her expert suggestion while considering your facial shape and texture and teach you how do define your curls. She's always been on time and gives you her full attention. She is an expert and has much experience and training in working with curly hair of all types because I've watched her work with other clients. I highly recommend and without hesitation to give Sandy a try.

Sandy is simply the best if you have curly hair! She has been cutting and coloring my hair for over 5 years and I will never go to anyone else. Whether it's just cleaning up some split ends or changing my style completely, I always leave the salon loving how my hair looks. She's also been great with helping select color that looks really natural and works well with my skin tone. Before I started seeing Sandy it seemed no matter what I did, my curls never looked how I wanted them to. Sandy has taught me so much about how to care for my hair at home to keep my curls looking their best. I gladly drive across town to see her. I was the biggest chicken to get my hair cut. I knew it was time, the ends were snagging together and my hair was starting to get the dreaded triangle look. I had spent so much time growing it out and taking vitamins to help it grow, the whole enchilada. So, the thought of someone cutting too much off filled me with dread. So, much dread that every time I decided I was just going to go for it and make a curly girl cut appointment, I would hang up the phone and tell myself, let it grow a little bit more....just wait a little bit maybe it will start to hang better. Nope, the ends got worse. So, Sandy to the rescue. I literally just left the salon. I have never seen my hair have this kind of volume. She did NOT cut too much off, in fact she cut it so you could actually see that I did have length! It has shape, body, movement. I am in love with my hair. She listened to every word, looked at every picture I brought her. Sandy just 'got it.' She is amazing. I will be returning no doubt about it. Also....I thought I would add just a touch of pintura highlights to break up my dark curls. Win! They look perfect. Not too many, not too much, just right. Sort of like Goldilocks. She is my new hair guru. Thank you Sandy. You made me fall in love with my hair again. Worth every single penny.
