The Curl Ambassadors provides a specialized dry-cutting technique curl experience for men, women and children of all ethnicities with all hair types and textures.

Partnering together for over 15 years in the call-center industry, customer service has always been important to the salon's curly owners, Caroline Muir and Betty Di Salvo.

"We wanted to be able to share knowledge with great tools, education and superb products designed specifically for your hair type and texture to embrace the curls they were born with, says Caroline, who has shoulder-length corkscrews.

They opened The Curl Ambassadors {in October 2006} in a vibrant neighborhood in Toronto's bustling downtown, which draws its energy from the many specialty boutiques in its midst. The salon has the feel of a chic French Province boutique, with chandeliers, Victorian mirrors and fancy settees. It's classy and comfortable and has been positively recognized by NOW, Toronto's Fashion Magazine, Lou Lou Magazine, Glow Magazine and The Post.

Come in and have a fresh-baked cookie and a cup of tea while your curls are pampered. Surf the Internet while your color is processing.

The salon offers a private room for personal hair replacement options such as wigs, unique hair pieces and hats. This special service is delivered by a hair and wig expert who is a breast cancer survivor. This service is available to those going through chemotherapy, as well as other situations requiring timely hair replacement.

"When our customers leave, they are provided with a 'Curl Map' of exactly what was done to their hair so they can actually replicate it at home on their own," Betty says. "This helps them become their own Ambassadors for their curls and kinks."
