In this fun video NaturallyCurly editors Devri and Amanda get ready for the holidays using one of our curly community's favorite brands, SheaMoisture. Devri got all glammed up (we love seeing all of her different makeup looks in the office!) and Amanda kept things natural with an understated winged liner, so no matter what your style you can find some inspiration here.

Amanda's Hair

  1. After washing her hair, apply Jamaican Black Castor Oil Strengthen, Grow & Restore Leave-In Conditioner
  2. Shingle the Jamaican Black Castor Oil Styling Lotion throughout the hair
  3. Two-strand twist the hair and twirl it around the fingers up to the root like you would to create a pin curl, securing it with a bobby pin
  4. Do this to all of the hair, then cover it with a satin scarf and let it set overnight
  5. In the morning, unravel the pin curls
  6. Separate and fluff the curls with your fingers until you have your desired look

  • Sheer Foundation - in Tropea Almond which has a dewy finish
  • Pressed Powder - in Yala Golden to set the look
  • Wet/Dry Eyeshadow - use the color Carly all over the lid and the color Taylor closer to the lash line
  • Liquid Eyeliner - for a dramatic, winged eye
  • Volumizing Mascara - in Black
  • Lipstick Crayon - in Keylin for a glamorous red lip
  • Lip/Cheek Balm - in Varkala Spice on the apples of the cheeks

Devri's Hair

  1. Starting on a second day wash and go,
  2. Jamaican Black Castor Oil Strengthen, Grow & Restore Styling Lotion - to smooth her edges and give all of the hair more moisture, since her wash and go had begun to lose definition
  3. Divide hair into two sections, and then take the top section and twist it into a bun, securing it with bobby pins and a hair tie
  4. Apply Curl Enhancing Smoothie to the bottom section of hair to prevent frizz
